Recently my remote stopped working properly. i went searching to find a replacement without much luck, as I could not remember where i bouht it from . . . it finally dawned on me the name Parrot Uncle was on the front of the remote. I was confused about replacement and sent an email, which to my surprise was answered quickly! Replies were not only handled just as quickly, there was someone on the other side listening. I ordered my remote within a day or two and although it was 5 days later than promised, which happens when things are shipped from another country, I was thrilled to have my fan working again! Can the remote be used with current installed receiver (without disassembling the fan) or will the new receiver need installed?
Hi, thank you for your inquiry. You can first try pairing the new remote with your existing receiver, so there's no need to disassemble the fan initially. If the pairing is successful, you can continue using the current receiver. However, if the remote cannot be paired with the existing receiver, you will need to replace the receiver with the new one included in the kit. Hope this helps.
