"This fan looks and works great. It was very well packaged. All parts were included and undamaged. Because the installation location is an outdoor covered patio with a 12 foot ceiling. The installers did a great job and took about 3 hours. As recommended by them, I had them add a wall switch to control power to the fan. This protects it from power surges when not in use. The installer has installed hundreds of ceiling fans over 20 years. He said this is a very good fan. Evidence of that bares out with the installation being completed without issue and no missing parts. Also, the performance seems to be top notch. There is very little movement at any speed, even with the 40 inch down rod installed. The remote control (battery included) use is effortless. While running on #6 speed, I tapped the reverse direction button. The fan slowly decelerated, then reversed rotation."

"This has to be one of the cooler fans i have ever seen (pun intended). The all black design makes it look almost alien and just gives it a presence. The part that most impresses me is the surprisingly low profile and tightness to the ceiling. I love the fan blades. They have a unique curvature that looks like it belongs in the sides of an airplane."
